What will happen to Juliana Cherera and the 3 other IEBC Commissioners?
A tribunal has been established by President William Ruto to look into the conduct of the IEBC deputy chairman Juliana Cherera and three other commissioners during the elections on August 9 where he won and was declared and inaugurated as the 5th President of Kenya.
Along with Cherera, Justus Nyangaya, Francis Wanderi, and Irene Masit will all be under investigation.

The panel will also include Kibet Kirui Emmanuel, Irene Tuntu Neboe, Peter Munge Murage, and Zamzam Abdi Abib.
Justice Aggrey Muchelule will serve as the tribunal’s chairman after it was established today Friday, December 2, 2022.
The four commissioners were ordered suspended by the president until the issue was resolved.
Before their terms expire in September 2027, Cherera, Masit, Nyangaya, and Wanderi, who afterwards swallowed their stand on the polls outcome, might be forced to resign or go to jail.
