Brown Mauzo and Vera Sidika have been together since 2020 after the socialite broke up with his Tanzanian lover Doctor Jimmy Chansa.
Their relationship began in August 2020 and on October 20, 2021, they were blessed with a baby girl named Asia Brown.
The couple has been living together and Mauzo has decided that he is going to formalize things between him and the socialite.
In a post he shared on his Instagram account, Mauzo said that he will be wedding Vera next week
“Naoa, nikah 18-1-2022, wedding next week,” Mauzo shared accompanied by a photo of Vera dressed in a black Muslim attire.

Nikah is a religious ceremony for a Muslim couple to be legally married under the Muslim law.
A section of his fans however are not convinced that it will be an actual wedding especially with the fact that Vera, who likes sharing details about her life, has not said a word about that yet.
A fan called Aisha Siku doubted the wedding story while asking if Mauzo was not just about to drop a new song.
“Unahakika sio nyimbo mutinda?” Aisha posed.
Others went ahead to question Vera’s Islamic name as others suggested those that might just fit her.
“Vera Mwanaidi Hassan,” Official Roymodel said, as others wished the couple all the best.
In a past post however, Vera said that she was legally married to Mauzo and would be conducting a white wedding when the right time comes.
“Grand wedding loading. Lazima our baby girl will be the flower girl. But like we said we are in no rush. We are legally married, in love and together, that’s what matters. If you’re talking about that which involves me in a white gown and bae in a tuxedo, we haven’t done that yet, when ready we will do a wedding with decor, food, cake all of that. No rush,” Vera said back in August while she was still expectant.
