Watch: Drama In Court As Angry Elderly Suspect Confronts Magistrate Over Delayed Judgement

Date:

A dramatic moment was witnessed at the Malindi High Court after a 68-year old suspect decided to confront the court for taking too long to conclude his case.

It could not be immediately established what the suspect, Carlos Taka, was accused of but he bitterly confronted the magistrate while referring to the court as the most useless one in the world.

“This is the most useless court in the world I am telling you Kenyans because I have been in remand for one year  because of a simple witness from court here. This thing I tell you Kenyans will come to an end some day. I  have never seen this, justice delayed is justice denied,” the accused person lamented.

“I claim the privileges of a Kenyan of my age at 68 years to be given justice. You can not just [repeatedly] bring me to this place and take me back to remand,” the accused added before the magistrate interjected saying that the victim of his crime had to be considered.

Taka however continued ranting forcing the magistrate to threaten to take action against him. He however did not care and continued with his lamentations.

“I know that is what you want,” he said as the magistrate issued further directions on his case.
