Eunice Lewa Kimondiu alias Agnes Mutheu who conned tens of unsuspecting Kenyans through her motor vehicle scam syndicate has finally been arrested.
Agnes Mutheu operated a sophisticated motor vehicle scam syndicate which was involved in fraudulent sales of hired cars.
Mutheu and her gang hired cars from leasing companies before they disable trackers, forge documents and sell the stolen cars.
The car theft queen was finally arrested over on Saturday September 4th by undercover detectives based in Kiambu County.
According to DCI, Mutheu was arrested in Gatundu where she was to sell a Toyota Wish which had been stolen in Kitale.

DCI laid a trap to catch the 33-year-old car theft queen who had eluded police for some time as multiple victims had reported falling victim to her scam.
The person who was to buy the Toyota Wish which Mutheu was selling was working with undercover agents to arrest her in the act.
County DCI head dispatching undercover detectives to accompany the buyer as they sealed any loopholes for Mutheu to sidestep.
Given the suspect’s norm, she appeared armed with forged documents of the Toyota Wish, only to find that her 40th day had come earlier than she anticipated.
DCI sleuths in Kiambu county have launched a pursue for other members in Mutheu’s syndicate as the detectives try to unveil the consortium.
