Wangui Ngirici Annoyed By Governor Waiguru While On A Rally With Ruto

Date:

Kirinyaga woman representative Wangui Ngirici has been pissed off by governor Ann Waiguru for castigating interior Permanent secretary Dr. Karanja Kibicho.

Waiguru while in a rally with DP Ruto in Runyenjes took a swipe at president Uhuru Kenyatta and blamed him for appointing the likes of Karanja Kibicho in such high offices. The governor claimed that the permanent secretary was involving himself in politics instead of serving the country.

“Nataka kuambia mheshimiwa rais kwa heshima, Kirinyaga haijakosa watu wa kuandika serikali. Lakini huyo Kibicho amewacha kazi kwa serikali ameenda kufanya siasa. Tukimwambia tuwache siasa anatuambia tumeze wembe ama tujinyonge.

“Huyo Kibicho tunataka kusema aende na kama ni Kirinyaga vijana wa Kirinyaga ni wengi ambao wanaweza kutii sheria na kufuata sheria vilivyo. Tuseme Kibicho aende.” Said Waiguru.

However, these sentiments did not go well with Wangui Ngirici who castigated Waiguru for being hypocritical . She wondered why the county boss was condemning president Uhuru Kenyatta despite urging netizens to respect the head of state two years ago.

Below is what Wangui Ngirici wrote to tell of governor Waiguru:

“It’s now clear that both us are in UDA but Kirinyaga leadership must be respected. It is courtesy of PS. Eng. Dr. Karanja Kibicho that we have seen Wang’uru stadium and the overall improvement of road network in Mwea constituency. KEMRI is also coming which you vehemently opposed.

Two year ago you told us that the president should be respected. The respect looks good here.We are hustler nation but that is not a license to insult your way into the second term.#KirinyagaKwanza ✅#UDA✅”.

In the meantime, Kirinyaga woman rep Wangui Ngirici recently reminded her counterpart governor Ann Waiguru to carry her own cross of corruption without dragging their United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.

Wangui Ngirici was referring to the corruption allegations facing the Krinyaga governor where she reminded her that it had nothing to do with her new move of joining the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

“When anti graft agencies strike, don’t blame it on joining UDA.We have built the party from scratch.” She told Waiguru.

The two women who are both eyeing the Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat in 2022 have not been seeing eye to eye.

Even after Waiguru joined the UDA party from Jubilee, Wangui Ngirici welcomed the governor to Ruto’s camp but gave her a stern warning that she is still determined to go for her seat and be the next Kirinyaga governor.

As a result, the philanthropic Wangui Ngirici promised to not only win the general elections but to also defeat Ann Waiguru with a landslide at the UDA nomination stage.

“There are about 10 people who have declared their interest in the gubernatorial race, and I know I will be joined by others in UDA, so I would like to say karibu to UDA to Governor Waiguru, that is where the future is. What she didn’t see, I saw many years ago. I knew what the people wanted,” said Ngirici.

“The governor lost her ground a long time ago, immediately after she was elected, so it (her defection) doesn’t change anything. Actually, it just gives me less competition, because after nominations – and I know I will beat her – I’ll go and compete with fewer people.
