Kenya is likely to be officially declared a bhang smoking state if words by George Wajackoyah’s female runningmate Justina Wangui Wamae are anything to go by.
According to Justina, she will make it her business to smoke huge rolls of bhang on their inauguration day after they secure the victory in the coming August general elections.
George wajackoyah together with Justina are eyeing the presidency on a Roots party ticket. The two have on several occasions vowed to legalize marijuana to help spur our economic growth.
This explains why the 35 year old female running mate will be celebrating their victory in style by chewing and smoking bhang from evening to evening.
“I have never puffed bhang but one thing I can assure you, I have even asked for permission from my husband, the moment we win, during inauguration, tutapuff, kishash (bhang) lazima kiwashwe. But its only for that day,” she said in an interview.
With regards to why she settled on Wajackoyah, Justina revealed that she was attracted to his good manifesto, particularly his stand on supporting women’s inclusivity in leadership.
“I had never met the Professor before, but I really liked his ideologies, and he seems to positively think about the youth and women leadership, other parties are going for much older people. The fact that the idea was practical, a real idea, it really compelled me to support it.” She said.
According to Citizen Digital, Justina believes the bhang business will stimulate the ailing economy and harness an economic revolution, similar to Wajackoyah who has promised to legalize marijuana if he wins the country’s top seat.
George wajackoyah became prominent in Kenya after his controversial announcement that bhang ought to have been allowed. He also vowed to suspend the constitution if he is elected the head of state.
Besides, he promised to appoint eight prime ministers and reduce the number of days people go to work (From Monday to Thursday).
