Vera Sidika Criticizes Fans, Calls Them Mosquitoes For Asking Why She Pumps Milk For Her Baby

Date:

Business woman Vera Sidika recently became a mother and has not stopped sharing her motherhood journey with her fans.

The socialite and her husband Brown Mauzo welcomed their first born, Princess Asia Brown, on Mashujaa day.

The baby was delivered through an Elective Cesarean Section on October 20. The couple settled on the date so that their baby could be celebrating her birthdays at home with family since it is a holiday.

In one of her motherhood stories, Vera shared a video pumping breast milk  for her young one.

“About last night, fresh squeezed breast milk for my angel,” the caption of her video read.

The video prompted many of her followers to question why she was not breastfeeding her daughter directly.

“You don’t let her suck directly from the nipple???” a curious fan asked.

To answer the question, Vera stated, “I think people need to be educated more on these things. Pumping does not mean you don’t breast feed. Make Google your friend

“Can’t you just breastfeed her?” another fan asked.

“And who told these mosquitoes that I don’t breastfeed,  mind your breast as I mind mine,” Vera responded.

“Dealing with washamba is such an extreme sport. Since when did breast bumping mean you don’t directly breastfeed your child. Some of you all are full of surprises. I thought you all know it all kumbe hamjui chochote,” Vera further said.

The one time singer went on to share some of the responses she received from mothers who have also been pumping breast milk for their children and some of the reasons that force them to do so.

One of them said that the milk is stored so that the baby can have it if the mother is busy or sleeping.

The socialite also shared a video breastfeeding her daughter for the first time while she was still in hospital.
