A video has resurfaced of the Gatundu South Moses Kuria praising former Gichugu member of parliament Moses Kuria as the best runningmate.
In the video, Moses Kuria is heard saying that Martha Karua was the best choice for the kenyan people because she is the one that can stand against extremism on the side of the presidential candidates.
According to Kuria, Kenya will not be safe in the hands of both Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and William Ruto hence it needed a strong woman like Martha karua to tame them.
“ Musalia is a risk to this country. Kalonzo is a risk to this country, Ruto is a risk to this country, Raila is a risk to this country. All of these people are a risk to this country be it William Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi, Raila Odinga or Kalonzo Musyoka. When you look around, nobody can match the expertise of Karua in terms of derisking or mitigation, making people say, even if so and so tries to become rogue, if somebody tries to take this country to jokes, at least there is somebody there and that is karua.” Said the Gatundu South MP.
Moses kuria continued: “Karua fits in in all camps. She is coming in to cure a disease that’s not with one person. Karua is the di-risking factor….”
This video has drawn mixed reactions with some Kenya Kwanza supporters doubting the loyalty of Moses Kuria and whether he was just the enemy in Ruto’s camp.
Some even accused Moses Kuria of being an Azimio mole in William Ruto’s camp to achieve a specific objective before abandoning the deputy president at the last minute. Below are what Kenyans said about Kuria’s video:
“See this one here . I suspect he is a mole in Ruto’s camp and Kenya Kwanza should be very careful with him.” Said Susan Jeruto.
“Moses Kuria has proven beyond reasonable doubts that his heart is with Martha Karua. I don’t see him supporting the Ruto Rigathi ticket until the last minute. let us wait and see.” said kelvin kamau.
