American President Donald Trump today made his first official public appearance after losing the elections to Joe Biden.
The President was attending a wreath-laying ceremony in honor of Veteran’s Day. The event took place at Arlington National Ceremony in Washington DC. While here, the controversial president refused to address the public that was gathered around. Instead, he only read a written statement which stated: “We enjoy the privileges of peace, prosperity, and freedom because of our veterans, and we are forever indebted to them beyond measure.”
Donald Trump has never officially addressed the nation since Biden was projected the winner. Instead, he has only engaged the country through his social media handles. The president has mostly been communicating through Facebook and Twitter.
Immediately Biden was declared the winner, Trump went on a rampage dismissing Biden’s win as a hoax. According to him, the election officials had engaged in massive electoral frauds in favor of his opponent. As a result, his legal team filed a number of cases in various states to ask for recount and certification of the cast votes.
Trump has adopted a new way of dealing with the loss by pushing a narrative that “he is about to win.” According to him, the results of the election will start trickling in the coming week.
