Even before dust settles on the issue of boda boda menace, it has now emerged that the whole transport sector is rotten as indicated by Transline.
This is after a video emerged on social media showing attendants of Transline Classic Shuttles assaulting passengers at an unidentified location.
From what is gathered from the video, seemingly agitated passengers confronted the attendants and they respond by assaulting them.
According to the source of the video, one of the buses had knocked down someone with a child and it seems they were not willing to admit it.
One of the attendants goes to the extent of trying to block the source from recording the events.

The video elicited reactions with some claiming that that is not the first time Transline shuttles attendants are mishandling their customers.
Steve Biko said,” All who travel to Western Kenya resist from using Transline buses . That’s not the first time but it is their nature. They have no respect and courtesy for customers.”
“@ntsa_kenya and@JamesMacharia_@FredMatiangi@InteriorKE@StateHouseKenyaThere is a real cost on human lives when public officers and state corporations fail in their duty to citizens. Increasingly illiterate, uncouth fellows are wreaking havoc in the transport sector,” Grid Ojaka’s comment read.
“Kwanza transline imeoza kabisa,” Moses Nalo said.
This comes a few hours after president Uhuru Kenyatta announced a nationwide crackdown on rogue boda boda riders following an incident where a female motorist was assaulted at Forest Road in Nairobi.
The head of state however said that the move should not be seen as a target on small businesses but a move to restore sanity in the sector.
“I want to refer to the video circulating. It was disheartening and it was only one of these incidents shown. I have ordered a crackdown on all boda boda operators starting here in Nairobi and moving across the country. I know we are in the busy season of politics, and some will say the government is harassing small business owners. There is no such thing,” he said during the International Women’s Day at the Kenya School of Government in Kabete, Nairobi.
