The Tourism Fund was elated after Manchester City star Kalvin Philips who joined West Ham on loan revealed that Kenya was his favorite holiday destination.
In a quickfire session with West Ham, Philips named Kenya as his favorite holiday destination without hesitation.
“What is your favourite holiday destination?” the interview asked, to which Phillips answered, “Kenya”.
The video quickly attracted the attention of Kenyans once it was uploaded by West Ham United, with many elated that such an elite sportsman recognised the country as one of the best holiday destinations.
And now the Magical Kenya, Kenya’s tourism body, has reacted to the video, thanking the midfielder for recognising Kenya, and asking him to come back for more vacation.
“Hey Kalvin Phillips, come kick it in Kenya again sometime soon, and bring the whole West Ham team with you!” Magical Kenya said.
