The Kenya Revenue Authority’s board of directors has officially confirmed significant changes to its senior management, including Pamela Ahago in their top leadership.
Board chairperson, Mr Anthony Mwaura stated in a statement issued on Thursday that this was executed to enhance the Authority’s action plan.
“Changes have been made to further enhance the revenue mobilization agenda and synergies in top management,” he explained.
David Yego was appointed as the Commissioner in charge of Intelligence, Strategic Operations, Investigation, and Enforcement as part of the changes.
Pamela Ahago has been appointed as Acting Commissioner of Domestic Taxes.
In addition, David Mwangi was named acting Commissioner of Customs and Border Patrol.
Paul Mutuku is the Commissioner of Legal Services and Board Coordination.
Nancy Ng’etich was designated to acting Commissioner of Corporate Support Services by the Authority.
Mohammed Omar, the Commissioner of Strategy, Innovation, and Risk Management, was retained during the changes, as was Fred Mugambi Mwirigi, the Commissioner of the Kenya School of Revenue Administration.
