Striker Olunga is giving out jerseys to his fans, here is how to get one

Date:

Kenyan International Michael Olunga has been on terrific form this season, and he is arguably the hottest thing in the Japanese top tier league.

The Harambee Stars forward bagged his 23rd goal of the season in the Japanese J1 League after scoring with 10 minutes left, but couldn’t prevent his side Kashiwa Reysol from defeat as they went down 2-1 away to third-placed Gamba Osaka last week

In 24 league matches, Olunga has only failed to score in seven, and one of them he was out injured. He has scored seven goals in the last six matches for Reysol, underlining his importance to the squad.

Reysol have scored 47 goals in the league this season, and Olunga has been involved in 24 of them, scoring 23 and assisting once, in the opening game of the season against Sapporro.

His 23 goals tally means he remains the top scorer in the league. He is trailed by Brazilian striker Everaldo who has scored 13 goals so far for Kashima Antlers.

And the former Gor Mahia talisman who the fans still fondly call Engineer wants to share the current with his legions of fans.

He announced on his Facebook that he is giving out two autographed jerseys to a lucky fan who would throw any random on his post and get the most likes.

Additionally, he announced that he will award the winner on 8th of November at midday Kenyan time.
