Kiambu gubernatorial candidate William Kabogo has unleashed evidence suggesting that Kimani Wamatangi and a number of other candidates who might turn out as winners of general elections in Kiambu county did not win genuinely.
In his twitter account, Kabogo shared a number of forms from polling stations such as Kikuyu and Githunguri indicating that the final results of how some candidate performed per the polling stations in question had been tampered with.
He simply captioned the forms, “How it’s DONE.” Aside from the gubernatorial results forms, there was also one form on the Women Representative post and another Member of National Assembly. All the forms bore IEBC’s stamped and dated either 9th or 10th August 2022.
In one of the forms on gubernatorial results, the initial results of Wainaina, which were similar to Wamatangi’s , had been crossed and replaced with a lesser number of votes. Another list clearly indicated that the vote count Wamatangi had secured was edited.

The Kiambu gubernatorial race attracted over five candidates with the notable ones being the first governor of the county, the sitting senator Kimani Wamatangi, outgoing Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, Thika Lawmaker Wainaina jungle among others.
Kuria has since conceded defeat even before the official results of the race were released. Report however indicated that Wamatangi might emerge victorious.
