The Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s security has been enhanced just hours before the end of the official tallying of the form 34As.
According to credible sources, the escort security around the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader has been beefed up and is now being given extra escort by the men in uniform.
Besides, Sonko News has learnt that more officers have been sent not only to Raila’s Karen home but also to the Opoda farm in Bondo.
A video clip seen by Sonko News revealed upto nine security guards around Raila unlike the other days where he is usually surrounded by two of his most trusted security. At the same time, they were very alert around the Azimio flagbearer like never before.
The source added that the national Intelligence Service has already known the potential winner of the presidential race and they are not taking any chances with the security of both Raila and Ruto together with their runnigmates.
The ODM boss left with his security details to unknown locations even as others speculated that perhaps he was on his way to the International Conference Center (ICC) where the Azimio were preparing the venue in anticipation of good news.
In the meantime, the Azimio fraternity on Thursday shared results of their tallying center which showed Raila Rank ahead of Ruto with 7,015,963 (50.13%) and 6,766,843 (48.35%) respectively.
