A couple from the United States have caused a stir on social media after they decided to set themselves on fire soon after exchanging vows.
The newlyweds identified Ambyr Bam and Gabe Jessop, decided to make a fiery exit instead of the normal send off where couples are showered with petals of flowers, accompanied by song and dance.
In a video that was shared on their social media pages, the fire is set on the backs of the bride and the groom. They ran for a few meters before they bent down near a water tab where the fire was put out.
“I promise we will post photos from the actual wedding part when we get a min/service while on our honeymoon- but here is a video of the send off if you haven’t already seen it ? . Love you all . Thanks for your Support and kindness,” the couple said on their Instagram page.

It is however believed that they were donning fireproof clothes and had applied themselves with anti-burn gel on their faces and hair before they set themselves on fire with some netizens cautioning viewers against attempting such a stunt.
““These are trained professionals, don’t try this at home,” Russ Powell said on TikTok.

The duo, who are said to be professional stunt artists, left their guests thrilled and stunned with their move that was inspired by a Hollywood blockbuster movie known as Hunger Game: Catching Fire. In the movie, the lead characters Katniss and Peeta also set themselves on fire.
