Shock As Man Exhumes Wife’s Body From Grave To Sell Land

Date:

A man from Kimabu shocked residents in his village after showing up with police officers and a court order and to exhume his wife’s body that has been buried for two years.

The man said he plans to sell his place of land and move elsewhere.

He planned to exhume the body of his wife and bury it in a public cemetery. Residents of Muthure village however protested the move saying selling the piece of land would leave the man’s children stranded and homeless having abandoned them since the death of their mother.

“We don’t know where he is planning to take the remains of Wambui (the dead wife), it’s only him who knows. But we are saddened by his action since we told know where his children will go or live,” one of the villagers lamented.

The man however defended his actions saying he had already bought another piece of land elsewhere and a title deed already in his house. He further stated that he was ready to move his family to settle in the new place.

“My plans are to sell this land, then move to another place, I already have the title deed in the house,” he seemingly drunk man said.

But the villagers insisted that they had to see where the man had bought his claimed piece of land so that they can now exhume the body and transfer the remains to the new home.
