The much anticipated Luo festival is creating a rift between Akothee and Jalang’o as they clash over terms and conditions.
According to Jalang’o, Akothee wants to be treated like a spoilt British royal – asking event organizers to grant her wish list before she can perform.
Jalang’o revealed that Akothee demanded to be paid Ksh1 million performance fee and asked for several other exorbitant requirements.
“Iam not happy ! What kind of artist is this who want to arm twist event organisers!!
@akotheekenya I have paid you but Iam not happy! You want me to go back to the village! Everytime we do this event you come with new requirements and demands!!
1. Performance fee 1MILLION!!
2. Professional sound , lights and backline!
3. 1 fully branded chopper!
4. 10 milk white RangeRovers
5. Personal Backstage
6. White backstage sofas
7. Personal chef
8. Personal toilet
9. Personal doctor and massage table!
10. 40 bouncers , four armed policemen and 4 dogs
11. 62 white towels
13. Assorted soft and hard drinks
14. 20 bottles of champagne
15. Pefomance time 9 to 10 exactly!!
You have taken the whole budget!! Anyway kuja tu!!

Akothee responded to Jalang’o after he blasted her for asking for too much from Luo Festival organizers, reminding him just how long it took her to build her brand.
“Just be happy for me baby… A brand comes at a cost , .music comes with a price… You know you are the only promoter in Kenya who understands my business language… You were the first promoter to pay me 150,000 ksh back in 2015… Now calculate that 150k times 7 years… How much is that?.. You know you even paid me yet I had come to perform for free, just pay…” Akothee wrote.
She further teased Jalang’o to add four girls to her list of demands to entertain her boyfriend while she is performing.
“Kwa Ile list umesahau kuweka 4 side chicks for my hubby @nellyoaks back stage ,they will be entertaining him as I am performing iwinjo @jalangoo @luofestival Yule jamaa ni mzito nikitoka show mambo ya wheelbarrow Taniua ??????”
