Schools in the United Kingdom are soon becoming the bedrock of disinformation on Covid-19 vaccination. The schools have been seen many people – including legal practitioners – camp around them, and warning children against taking any Covid-19 jab.
These groups claim that the vaccine is dangerous for children and detrimental in for their lives. Just a few days ago, there had been a group of protesters that had camped at the gate of St. Thomas More Catholic School in the town of Blaydon, North Newcastle in Northern England. The group had gathered at the gate awaiting for the children as they check their way into the school compound.
However, the head teacher of the said school came out strongly and denied such attempts by the protesters, saying that children were deeply concerned with the way things are being handled. “We are deeply upset with the way they were treated and the images that they were shown. We would like to reiterate that the school’s role in this is to host the vaccination team; we have not expressed the views on whether children should be vaccinated as this is a decision to be made by families,
“Our priority remains the well-being of our students, and we are doing our best to support those who are upset,” said the school head teacher, Jonathan Parkinson.
Other anti-vaccination crusaders made teachers to go a notch higher by contacting even the police to come to their aid. For example, the headmaster of Chilwell School in Beeston admitted that they had contacted the police after they received abusive and threatening messages from the Anti-vaccine crusaders. The groups are said to have printed leaflets and distributed to students and pupils, telling them not to accept any vaccine.
They, Anti-vax campaigners, had also targeted Lytham St. Anne’s High School in Lancashire, North West England, with the same message. The Anti-vax crusaders are against children aged below 16 be vaccinated.
