A 29-year old man from London in the United Kingdom has decided to use a different approach in a bid to find a wife.
Muhammad Malik has decided to advertise himself on Billboards in the city of Birmingham to find a partner who will spend with him the rest of his life.
‘Save me from an arranged marriage’ his billboards read accompanied by his photo and his website, FindMalikawife.com, so that those who are interested can be able to contact him.
According to the Website, Malik is very serious about finding a wife and said that that was not a joke.
He also shared some of his qualities and habits in a bid to help those who might be interested in becoming his wife to know the kind of a person that he is.
“I’m a 29-year-old Muslim guy living in London. I’m blessed because I can combine my passions for Islam and entrepreneurship in what I do for a living. I love food, good bants, and I know it sounds cheesy – but learning more about my own faith,” Malik described himself.
The 29-year old says that he chose to advertise himself on billboards so that he can be seen.
“I just haven’t found the right girl yet. It’s tough out there. I had to get a billboard to get seen!”
On his ideal wife he says, “My ideal partner would be a Muslim woman in her 20s, who’s striving to better her deen. I’m open to any ethnicity but I’ve got a loud Punjabi family – so you’d need to keep with the bants. Always personality and faith over anything else!”
Malik is the only child to his dad and mom and he is taking care of them. He however says that he is not against arranged marriages.
“Not at all! I think arranged marriages have a place and tradition in many Islamic cultures. In fact, there are many studies that show that arranged marriages have many advantages. I just want to try and find someone on my own first,” he explains.
