Controversial Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Sudi on Saturday took a swipe at president Uhuru Kenyatta’s government during the burial of the Olympian Agnes Tirop.
Sudi wondered how mere condolences written in a paper was going to help the family of Agnes Tirop since the ministry of sports offered no assistance according to him.
As a result, the fire breathing Oscar Sudi termed the ministry of sports as a den of conmaship since they offered no support to the family of the slain athlete Agnes Tirop during this moment of agony.
“Na naskia CAS na CS walikjuja mpaka hapa. CAS na mwenyewe amekaa mpaka hapa. Sasa wewe CAS ukituletelea kutusomea karatasi hapa na hakuna kitu kama serikali mnatoa kama serikali kuu what do you expect from these people surely.
Unajua conmen ni wengi. Tuko na conmen wengin mpaka serikali wenyewe ni conmen. Ni kama tena mwengine hapa anakuja kutusomea hapa ati Raila ametuma rambirambi. Conmen tu. Iyo rambirambi i can tell you for free uyu Tarus amejiandikia iyo rambirambi hapa town akikuja. Sasa ukituandikia rambirambi na huwezi fariji familia.” Said Osar Sudi.

“Well……what have you done as a person do not castigate others as if you are perfect…….such noise in a funeral is disheartening and is not comforting. If you would be loud enough in parliament where you are quiet …bring a bill to express what you are sharing with the mouners . We only have one judge God Himself even Jesus himself said He does not know the hour of his second coming..”

“The best topic here would have been how we can deal with gender based violence as a community or as leaders, not this politics nonsense. He should have showed respect to the family of the late and emphasized on speedy completion of the case so as justice can be served. That’s my thought..”
