Police officer Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh made a mark on Thursday, November 30 after he launched his initiative dubbed Samidoh Foundation.
The renowned Mugithi singer hosted the event at Parklands Sports Club where top government officials attended.
During the launch, Samidoh announced that the foundation will be key to empowering the vulnerable members of the society and the boychild.
Among those who attended the launch included Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who lauded him for his milestones in empowering the community.
“Samidoh continues to stand out and to inspire us through his music, innovation and creativity. We celebrate him and are very proud of him,” Gachagua’s statement read in part.
“Last evening, it was a pleasure to join Samidoh and rejoice with him as he launched The Samidoh Foundation whose focus is to help the vulnerable, the youth and in particular, the boychild. Giving back to Society is a Mark of Honour and the Right Thing to do,” he added.
Other leaders who attended the launch included Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba, Principal Secretaries Alex Wachira (Energy) and Eng John Mbugua (Transport), Senators Betty Montet (Nominated), John Methu (Nyandarua), Karen Nyamu (Nominated), Wahome Wamatinga (Nyeri), Maureen Mutinda (Nominated) Karungo Thangwa (Kiambu), Joseph Githuku (Lamu) and Mirajj Abdillahi (Nominated).
They all contributed millions which will be canceled towards revitalizing Samidoh Foundation.
