In the last 24 hours, 25 Kenyans out of the 1125 samples tested have tested positive for the pandemic, Coronavirus, COVID-19.
This brings the total national tally to a whopping 490 cases of the coronavirus virus that has claimed thousands of lives globally.
The new infections are from all Kenyans are spread across Mombasa reporting 10 new cases and Nairobi yielding 15 new cases. 12 of the new cases are female whilst 13 are male.
Some shocking news was also shared by the Health CAS Dr. Mercy Mwangangi from Afya House that a 6-months-old baby has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19.
In Nairobi- which is leading with the number of confirmed cases- the cases are spread out as follows; Eastleigh-8, Kariobangi South-10, Mathare-1, Kawangware-2, Kahawa West- 1 and Umoja-2.
In Mombasa, the cases are spread out as follows; Bombolulu-1, Old Town-8, and Jomvu-1.
