Nyandarua Woman Rep Faith Gitau has expressed her frustration after being left out of Raila Odinga’s tour of the county.
Raila is expected to traverse Nyandarua county on Saturday November 6th holding at least 10 rallies at different stopovers.
Raila’s motorcade will snake its way through Flyover, Kwa Haraka, Njabini, and the colonial villages before he concludes his tour with a leader’s meeting in Ol-Joro Rok.
“We will hold rallies and then later hold a leaders’ meeting in Ol Joro Rok where our day will end. We will make about 10 stopovers along the road,” ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna said.
The ODM leader will be hosted by Nyandarua governor Francis Kimemia. Other governors expected to attend are James Nyoro (Kiambu), Nderitu Muriithi (Laikipia) and several MPs allied to Kieleweke faction.
Nyandarua Woman Rep Faith Gitau expressed her frustration having been left out of the planned leader’s meeting in Ol-Joro Rok.
Raila is set to meet leaders drawn from different parts of Nyandarua in Ol-Joro Rok and Faith Gitau felt that she should have been invited for the meeting as well.
Speaking to the Star, the Nyandarua Woman Representative said that herself and fellow area leaders allied to William Ruto have been excluded from the meetings and events.
“I together with those who support Ruto, were not invited, the people of Nyandarua are now wise and they know who they will vote for come 2022,” said Faith Gitau.
