Roselyn Akombe Lands A Job In US Polls After Fleeing Kenya

Date:

Please don’t run away this time around, face them.

This is one of the advice that was given to run away former IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe who is overseeing the US elections.

Akombe resigned and flew to the US ahead of the 2017 repeat presidential elections.

While exiting her job, Akombe cited massive corruption at the electoral commission that prompted her exit from the country.

But on Friday, Akombe announced her come back to the electoral job but this time around it was not in Kenya. On a Twitter post, she posted a picture of her with a badge written ‘union county board of elections..board worker’.

‘It is always an honor and pleasure to serve’ in the caption that drew mixed reactions from her followers.

Her post brought mixed reactions from Kenyans on Twitter.

@MartinKimuyu said: “Oooh, I have now seen where the problem is. Kumbe Trump is right.”

@Paperboyrocks said “I am so sure your referee was your best friend Chebukati and Chiloba, and last successful heist was at IEBC. It will end in premium tears for that country.”

Ever since she left the country, Akombe has appeared to be the only one who has openly demanded justice for the death of IEBC official Chris Msando.
