Chama Cha Kazi Party leader Moses Kuria advised ODM Leader Raila Odinga to retire from active politics along with President Uhuru Kenyatta
Through his social media pages, the Gatundu South Member of Parliament said that it was time for the old order to give way to the new order with regards to the leadership of the country.
“The tremors in the country are part of a revolution marking 30 years of our multi-party experiment. Old order must give way to new order. The gods have spoken. I advise my friend @RailaOdinga to give way to this revolution and retire with grace alongside Uhuru Kenyatta,” Kuria said.
This comes moments after the lawmaker trashed Azimio la umoja movement saying that it was a bad idea.
“Azimio is a bad idea, fronted by the wrong people, for all the wrong reasons. It’s fate is Jehanum and judgment day is here,” Kuria said.
Kuria’s statements have been interpreted as a a step in reuniting with DP William Ruto. A section of Kenyans however are of different opinion.
“Moses Kuria is pretending. He knows azimio isn’t a joke. He is just trying to peddle lies like in the previous elections. He knows there might be a run off elections,” Terer Nicholas said
“My Friend Moses Kuria Atleast You Finally Realize You Cannot Compete with William Ruto, You Just have to toe the Line Man, Ruto is on another level of politics, thanks & welcome back,” Sivia Wangeci’s tweet read.
“If you people fear a competition with Raila, give way. Raila is not going anywhere. The tremors will consume you people not Raila,” Robert Alai said.
Farouk said, “Dennis is waiting for your arrival to compete with him. @RailaOdingais not your level, even in death he will be mourned internationally & remember, eulogies but fo you you’ll only be mourned in the villages of kiambu. That’s how different you are with RAO.”
While Mayaka Maoya wrote,”You got no respect for Baba. Msando’s spirit will haunt you and your family. Soon utatembea uchi wa mnyama. Saitan. Sit down.”
