The concert was held in Lagos, Nigeria at the Eko Convention Center. Initially it was supposed to be held on December 18 but was postponed after Peter fell ill.
Some of their fans were angered by the brothers for organizing a concert without even addressing them after being apart for five years.
“Psquare’s concert shouldn’t happen now, it isn’t a good strategy. Release a body of work before Psquare starts performing . You guys need to own it, don’t give it away easily like that . Things need to be done the right way #mythoughts,” Lucas Jay shared his thoughts on twitter.
The duo, however, performed their past hits including beautiful Onyinye, Do me, Alingo among others.
It is more than a month now since the brothers ended their five-year feud. They reunited just before they turned 40 years old and celebrated their birthday together on November 18.
Psquare split in 2016 after a disagreement arose over the role of their manager who is their elder brother Jude.
On September 25, 2017, Peter sent a termination letter to their lawyer explaining why he chose to leave the group.
Peter claimed that his brother was being generally uncooperative about matters relating to the group, and had even gone as far as to slander his wife and children on social media. He also called for a cancellation of theirU.S. tour.
He claimed that Paul posed a threat to him and the well-being of his family.
“Me and my wife have been getting life-threatening messages and I fear for my life and the life of my family. Remember Jude has threatened to kill me and shoot my wife in the presence of Paul and Mrs Imoke,” he said.
