Dreamer Kanye West has proposed to his fellow rapper and business mogul Jay Z to be his vice president, according to report by the Independent.
While appearing on Kris Kraylin’s radio show on Sunday, the rapper, who is running to be the next president of the United States revealed that he was considering Jay-Z, Jade Simmons and Michelle Tidball to be his second-in-command.
“We have Michelle Tidball, who is a Christian pastor out of Wyoming, who is my running mate. But she would be open to taking another position if we found another running mate,” West said.
Describing Jay-Z as his “favourite candidate” for the role, he continued: “I reached out to Jay to possibly be my vice president, my running mate.”
While the pair haven’t spoken for a while, West said that he had been inspired to choose Jay-Z after realising that the initials of his real name, Sean Carter, were the same as South Carolina, where he hosted his first rally.
“I look at the codes, I look at the signs,” West said. “The fact that we ain’t talked in so long, that’s how you know we real brothers.”
It is not clear whether Jay-Z responded to West’s request.

West hosted his first campaign rally in South Carolina during which he told crowds that he and his wife Kim Kardashian had considered not having their daughter North as part of a discussion about abortion.
West, who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder also criticized revered abolitionist figure, Harriet Tubman, saying: “Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves, she just had the slaves go work for other white people.”
The rapper has already missed the deadline to register in South Carolina, as well as a number of other states.
