The President used the occasion to promote Kenya as one of the most attractive investment locations for the United States, citing the country’s competitive advantage as a mature constitutional democracy with a well-developed financial and commercial environment.
At the same time, US Vice President Joe Biden pledged new assistance for Africa in the billions of dollars.
“The United States is ‘all in’ on Africa’s future,” President Biden told the summit’s over 40 African leaders.
