President Uhuru Kenyatta’s daughter Ngina reportedly gave birth at a Nairobi hospital weeks after news about her wedding broke.
Late last month blogger Dennis Itumbi broke news about Ngina and Sam Mwai Junior’s wedding plan.
Ngina and Sam dated and also got engaged in utmost secrecy until Itumbi let the cat out of the bag. Sam Mwai Junior is the son of wealthy and famous sports consultant and Karen Country Club manager Sam Mwai.
“The Hustler Nation Intelligence Bureau (HNIB) agents are reporting Wedding Bells. Congratulations Ngina Kenyatta. Congratulations Sam Mwai Jnr. May Blessings, happiness, and Joy fill your path,” Dennis Itumbi posted on August 29th.
It’s now been reported by Mpasho that Ngina gave birth to her first child with Sam on Thursday September 16th.
According to a source privy to the matter, First Lady Margaret Kenyatta was at the hospital to welcome her grandchild.
The Kenyatta family has a long tradition of keeping the media off their private affairs, like witnessed when president Uhuru welcomed his first grandchild.
The president’s firstborn son Jomo and his wife Fiona Achola Ngobi were blessed with their first child together – a baby girl named Wanjiru – in November 2017.
Uhuru and his wife Margaret made their way to Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi where their first grandchild was born, but the visit was so secret that no photo was even taken.
On May 27th 2020, Uhuru and Margaret became grandparents for a second time as Jomo and Achola welcome their second child – a baby boy named after the president.
Ngina’s child means Uhuru and Margaret now have three grandchildren. No photos of either of the president’s grandkids are available online.
