Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Friday evening hosted President Uhuru Kenyatta and KANU leader Gideon Moi at his Karen residence.
Details of their discussion have not been made public but Kalonzo said that they were supporting Raila Odinga’s presidential candidature in the coming general elections while sharing photos from their meeting.
“It was my absolute pleasure and joy to host the President of the Republic of Kenya H. E Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and my fellow OKA Principal Baringo Senator @MoiGideonat my Nairobi residence yesterday evening. We are Azimio – One Kenya and we will support Right Honorable former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga for the presidency in the forthcoming August General Election,” Kalonzo shared on Twitter.

On the other hand Gideon said that they were focused on forming a coalition that will ensure the country is united.
“We are forging a broad-based coalition that will leave no one behind in its quest to build a united and prosperous nation. With President Uhuru Kenyatta at H.E Kalonzo Musyoka’s home,” Gideon said.
The meeting comes just a week after the signing of Azimio-One Kenya Coalition at the KICC between OKA and close to 30 other political Parties.
Reacting to the news, some Kenyans have wondered how the three leaders met without the presence of ODM leader with questions being raised about the agenda of their meeting.
“So Uhuru met Kalonzo and Gideon without Raila. Hehe interesting times ahead,” read a tweet by Kirui Chebet.
“There’s something you are not telling Kenyans. Mnachorea RAO mtego ya pale Kwa Azimio delegates ? Apart from ODM, which other parties has Raila brought to Azimio? Jubilee has the bulk of parties, Oka has several. If Azimio goes delegates way to choose flag bearer, poor Baba’s cooked!” Francis Mbugua claimed.
“President going round doing night meetings. Very desperate, aibu kubwa sana” Ben Mark said .
Others however claimed that the three met because of Kalonzo’s double speaking. Of late, Kalonzo has been making questionable remarks in interviews making Kenyans to wonder why he is in Azimio.
First Kalonzo said that they are not sure of the documents that were signed at Azimio delegates meeting at KICC.
Later on he was quoted saying that he has numbers to impeach Raila should he not stand by their agreement.
