Veteran musician Otile Brown survived a near death experience after his car was hit and broken by construction metals near University way.
According to the video in possession of Sonko News, Otile Brown who was shocked by the incident left his car to record the video clips of whatever had happened, with curious road users camping to have a glimpse of the same.
“Tuko hapa tao manze, gari ya Otile imevunjwa, ona vile unacheki Otile mwenyewe ndio huyo anachukua videos, hi ndio from this construction opposite Laico hotel university way (We are in town and Otile Brown’s car has been broken by these construton metals. This is Otile Brown himself taking videos of the incident along University way.”)
However, the musician escaped unhurt with sources telling Sonko News that he may sue the Chinese construction workers for risking his life.
At the same time, our efforts to reach Otile Brown to comment on his condition after the minor accident were futile since the musician neither picked calls nor answered messages from Sonko News Correspondence desk.
The ongoing road from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to Westlands has come with its fair share of challenges ranging from endless traffic snarl-ups to minor accidents.
Just recently, a driver of a private car was slightly injured after he bumped onto one of the stones erected on the side of the road. Apparently, the driver claimed that he never saw the stone which made him hit it.
As a result, there was huge traffic with road users surrounding the place.
In the meantime, the construction of JKIA Westlands road has been seen as a major booster that will not only ease traffic in the city but also spur economic growth.
