Oscar Sudi, the Kapseret has stated that he has information that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is planning to arrest Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen.
Addressing a press conference at his home in Uasin Gishu on Saturday, May 16, the MP insisted that the DCI is investigating Senator Murkomen and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wa with an Ill motive.
He further accused the detectives of shadowing Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri in nondescript cars to cower and intimidate him.
“We know that the DCI wants to arrest Murkomen, Ichung’wa and a host of other Jubilee politicians,” Sudi claimed, daring the police to proceed with the plan.
“I also know that this man Kimani Ngunjiri has witnessed several strange vehicles following him around wherever he goes and he can’t tell who the occupants are, carry on.
“I will reiterate the statements from before, kill whoever you will kill, arrest whoever you will arrest, but Kenyans are seeing and they are not fools,” Sudi dared the DCI.
The MP further stated that he was no longer scared of threats to his life and like Ngunjiri, he would soon expose the truth about extrajudicial killings that have shaken the country to the core.
“It has reached a point where we are no longer afraid. It is not the first time in Kenya that such killings are happening. There are a number of individuals who were also killed recently. It will get to a point where we will lay bare who killed Chris Msando and a host of other Kenyans,” Sudi stated.
“We know that you also want to conduct Cabinet reshuffles just the same way you de-whipped Kihika and Murkomen, carry on with that, but Kenyans are watching,” he added.
“Keep planning but no one in this world will live for more than five hundred years. We are all passersby and one day we shall leave these powers.
“Remember that Moi was a powerful man with a powerful Cabinet and his word was law, but in the end, he retired under a tree in his compound, waiting upon fate and we recently buried him,” he concluded.
The angry Sudi was flanked by a host of other MPs and community leaders.
