Siaya Senator James Orengo has come on the forefront to talk to the President, Uhuru Kenyatta on how badly he has ruled the country.
The Senator who is also an Advocate of the High Court said that the President should have taken some lessons from the former President, Mwai Kibaki.
The Minority Leader who had the floor talking about the Third Basis Revenue Allocations Formula shared his disappointment on how hard it has been to get a hold of the President unlike former President, Mwai Kibaki.
Orengo Jimmy believes that the current situation the Senate is currently on right now due to the formula could have been easily evaded if Uhuru Kenyatta was accessible easily. He even stressed that his sentiments were not for Uhuru but for the entire country.
“The thing that President Kibaki did properly, no other President will be able to do it. I am not ashamed of saying that.” Senator Orengo said.
“I am advising the current President to be more accessible to enable us to solve these problems.”

“We would not have been here if he was more accessible, I’m telling you without being afraid. I’m not saying it for me, I’m saying it for the country,” he continued.
Orengo’s statement was approved by the Senate which he expressed his disappointments on the same for the lack of direction over the matter.
“We have lost our minds, with respect, I was hoping we could sit together as a people,” he stated.
Senator Moses Wetangula among other Senators backed him up on his sentiment over the controversial third basis formula which allocates primarily on population and County functions above anything else.
