Ofweneke’s Ex-wife Narrates How A Foreigner She Met Online Robbed Her

Date:

Nicah was robbed and thrown out of the vehicle yet it was raining.

The gospel artist shared the 2020 ordeal during a conversation with Billy Miya and Mbaruk, during a live broadcast.

She said that the guy had been after her for for sometime before she decided to meet him, unaware of the misfortune that was awaiting her although she had taken the precaution of meeting him in a public place.

“There is someone who wanted to court me. After chasing after me for long, I thought he was genuine. He asked me for a date and we went to Sarit Centre. The guy paid for the bills. I was supposed to go back home. He told me let me drop you, so that we don’t have to get different Ubers,” she recalled

Nicah said that she agreed with him as it made sense and they sat at the back seats..

“The guy then started strangling me and told me to give him my phone, my money, Mpesa pins, and ATM card and everything,” the mother of two narrated.

“And the person is not even Kenyan,” she added.

Nicah surrendered her belongings without second thoughts. She further revealed that she had carried Kshs31,000 with her. She also had money in her bank account but she gave the robber a wrong pin.

“He told the driver to pull up and he pushed me outside  and it was raining. I have never forgotten the incident,” she said.

Because of shame, Nicah said that she never told anyone about the encounter. She however searched online for the person and discovered that she had been reported because of such incidents.

“He was even posted by DCI. He just began talking to me through my Instagram DM,” she said.
