A Nigerian national has been apprehended in connection with the gruesome murder in Roysambu.
Reports indicate the suspect was nabbed trying to flee the country.
Multiple indicate that he was arrested on Monday night at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) while attempting to leave for Abuja.
The suspect was accused of dismembering the woman in an apartment in Roysambu on Sunday.
Further, two other suspects were taken into custody at Kasarani Police Headquarters for allegedly aiding the Nigerian national.
Detectives traced the Nigerian national through the CCTV footage which showed the suspect receiving the key used to access the apartment in Roysambu.Â
According to the CCTV footage, the suspect was recorded speaking on phone before handing it over to a lady.
The lady then handed back the phone and gave the suspect keys to the room.
He however did not return the key. Later that morning the body parts of the woman were discovered dumped in a trash bin.
