“Cartels,” in Kiambu have threatened Governor Wamatangi.
Without naming any specific individuals, Wamatangi claimed to have received multiple threats from people warning him to exercise caution else he lose his head.
He claimed that individuals who have threatened him have promised they will resort to all measures required, such as creating phony controversies, to have him detained and prosecuted in court.
As his life is in danger, Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi pleaded with the congregation at Gatundu South, Ndarugo, to pray for him this Sunday.
”I have been told to take care, that I will lose my head but I tell them that my head has stayed where it is because of God.”
”Even when they say they will create a huge scandal and blame it on me, I’m not worried I tell them that the God who stood with me is the same God who will stand with me.” says Governor Wamatangi.
Wamatangi claims that a permits to build and permission cartel that was swindling Kiambu citizens by leading them in circles is one among the group issuing threats after his leadership destroyed it’s operations soon after gaining control of the county.
