Mwai Kibaki who is the third president of the great Republic of Kenya has finally made a statement through his proxy about getting admitted to the hospital and his health.
According to his private secretary, Ngari Gituku, the former President was not admitted to a Nairobi Hospital’s VIP wing on Monday, July 27 as rumors purported and shared by numerous media outlets.
“Some Kenyans are idle and foolish with nothing to do. I don’t know where this madness is coming from. It is not true,” stated Ngari.
Reports had claimed that the former head of state had been admitted to a hospital barely two weeks after his previous discharge.
Gituku refuted claims that the 89-year-old Kibaki was unwell saying that he is very much okay even though there have been numerous speculations about him getting admitted to the hospital.

Numerous media outlets reported that Mwai Kibaki had been hospitalized for the same illness that he had suffered from previously with another publication reporting that the former President who served as president from 2003 to 2013 had taken to Nairobi hospital for abdominal pains.
Another publication had also indicated that the former head of state had been admitted under a code name and that the whole floor had been secured for him.
