Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala almost ruined Musalia Mudavadi’s meeting in Western after he ordered that opposition leader Raila Odinga has to come and kneel before ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi.
According to Cleophas Malala, Raila made a mistake when he referred to the likes of Musalia as good at yapping at public rallies with no concrete solutions to the economy.
As a result, Cleophas malala made it very clear that Raila must first come and kneel in front of Musalia (akin to worshiping him) like his God before he can be forgiven. These sentiments of Raila worshiping Musalia did not however go well with most people in the meeting as they started walking out one by one.
In a symbolic language, Raila used the swahili say “kubweka kama mbwa “( yapping like a dog without solution) in reference to the Kenya Kwanza leaders under the leadership of William Ruto, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi.
Hours after Kenya Kwanza issued a joint statement on food prices, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader dismissed it as mere propaganda aimed at fooling Kenyans in a bid to gain political sympathy.
“Hakuna haja ya kupiga kelele tu, na kubweka eti gharama iko juu, nchi gani ambayo haina deni?” Raila said.
Loosely translates to: “There is no need of making unnecessary noise, and barking that the cost of living is high. Which country doesn’t have debts?”
Raila further stated that Ruto was the deputy president of the republic of Kenya elected in 2013 all the way to 2022 hence there was no need for him to continue barking like a dog over food prices like a common citizen.
At the same time, Cleophas Malala took a swipe at the ODM party and the DAP-K party, urging residents to give them a wide berth in the forthcoming general elections. He also castigated the likes of Francis Atwoli, CS Eugine wamalwa, Kakamega governor Wyckliffe Oparanya , Uhuru Kenyatta and Cyrus Jirongo, terming them brokers.
“Lakini kitu ambayo imenishangaza ya kwamba wale watu ambayo wanapeana mwelekeo mikoa ya magharibi ukiwangalia wote wanasimama kura. mweshimiwa Musalia anasimama kura, Mweshimiwa Weta anasimama kura, mweshimiwa Malala anasimama kura, mweshimiwa Adagala anasimama kura, Rashid Mohamed anasimama kura.” Said malala.
He continued: “Lakini wale majamaa wengine ambao wako katika Azimio la Ukora wote hawasimamai kura. Ukiangalia Uhuru nyatta hasimami kura, Atwoli hasimamai kura, Oparanya hasimami kura, Eugine Wamalwal hasimami kura, Jirongo hasimami kura. Those people are brokers! Hao majamaa wana behave kama makanga ati bei ya kutoka kakamega kuenda Kisumu ni mia ukiingia gari wamebaki kwa stage.
