Money Bag Masten Wanjala Bribed Police Officers To Escape Without Struggle

Date:

It has now emerged that the late serial killer Masten Wanjala bribed police officers with unspecified sums of money to escape without any struggle.

According to news reports by a local mainstream media, Masten Wanjala took advantage of offenders who were arrested for violating the 10pm curfew rule.

Apparently, they were mixed in the same cell with Masten Wanjala but they were lucky to be released later after each one of them paid a bribe.

While making a line to submit their tithes to the officers to buy freedom, it is claimed that Masten Wanjala equally made a line and masqueraded as a curfew offender.

Not caring to keep records of the money given, the serial killer allegedly paid the money and walked scot free without struggling just like the other Kenyans.

Further, it was reported that there was blackout that time for almost 5 hours which made it almost impossible for the officers to tell who was who.

Wanjala is said to have been killed by an irate mob in his rural home after being spotted playing football by school children.

On noticing that he had been discovered, Wanjala sought refuge in a neighbor’s home in Kabuchai, Bungoma county but the mob pursued him, broke into the house and descended on him with all manner of crude weapons killing him on the spot.

Wanjala escaped from Jogoo Road Police station moments before he was to be arraigned in court for the mention of the case in which he was accused of brutally murdering over 10 children from Bungoma, Machakos and Nairobi counties.

Following his escape from prison, the former Nairobi governor had offered to pay Ksh 200,000 to anyone with information that would lead to the suspect’s arrest.

Taking to his Facebook page, Sonko said that the Kshs200,000 will now be distributed to the mob that participated in killing Wanjala.

“Jana nilipewa sana ndio nimeamka sai. Kumbe serial killer Masten Wanjala who brutally murdered 13 children in Nairobi has been lynched by a mob in Bungoma, Kabuchai. Since I had offered a reward of 200k for the information leading to his arrest, I will now give the 200k to the group of youth who did this good job,” Sonko said.

At the same time, the former Nairobi governor confessed that his Sonko Rescue Team had been used on many occasions to ferry Wanjala’s dead victims to their various destinations for burial.

“I’m not doing this as PR but sisi (SRT) ndio tulisafirisha bodies of the murdered children to various destinations for burial and the tears and pain that the parents and familia walipitia ilikuwa kubwa sana na hawatasahau haraka. Nani anajua chief wa Kabuchai nataka kumtumia hio doo apatie maboys waliofanya job. Wanjala may you rot in hell,” Sonko further stated.
