Three minors have been arrested in connection with gang-raping an 8-year-old girl in Luanda.
Detectives based at the Luanda police station have arrested 6 suspects believing to be among the gang rapists.
Among those arrested on Saturday, three are minors aged between 15 to 22 years old.
Sleuths involved in the probing of the crime say two suspects aged between 15 and 22 years from Emuhaya defiled an innocent 8-year-old girl with the matter being reported to the police, the victim whose identity has been withheld to protect her is getting treated at the Ebusiratsi Elukongo Hospital.

Incidents of this nature seem to be rampant these days as four boys aged 17 and 20 years, in another incident are said to have defiled a 15-year-old girl.
The victim was subsequently treated at Ramula dispensary and discharged.
Luanda Police Commander Mohamed Kullow who warned minors from engaging in unlawful behavior, adding that they will be punished for their crimes says the suspects who are in police custody will be arraigned in court on Monday.
