The former Prime Minister and Azimio la Umoja flag bearer Raila Odinga has hilariously responded to DP William Ruto’s vote rigging allegation.
During Azimio la Umoja campaigns in Makueni county on June 14, 2022, the ODM leader said that DP Ruto has got no votes to claim that his votes have been stolen.
According to him, the second in command has sensed defeat and is only scared because of the Azimio la Umoja effect.
“I heard the Tangatanga guy the other day lamenting that there are plans to rig elections, that IEBC has transferred 800,000 votes, where is your vote? He has already seen the clouds like a monkey, now he starts crying, we are coming,” Raila said.

He further said that his team has a purpose, will and the ability to bring changes in the country.
“It is because Kenyans are tired of poverty. We have three enemies, sickness, stupidity and poverty,” Raila told the locals.
Earlier this month, DP Ruto claimed that about 800,000 voters from his stronghold regions had been removed from IEBC’s voter register during a meeting with European Union ambassadors on June 2.
“We will take a position on this matter. We are writing to IEBC because there was an attempt to obliterate names from the IEBC register. It is dangerous, especially when public officials are chest-thumping that the deep state will manipulate the elections.
“We expect that the EU will try and get as many details from IEBC and the public officials on how a million names disappeared. Many of the names are people from our strongholds. There is a clear attempt to try some monkey games. They will not succeed but these attempts are a source of concern to Kenyans,” he said.
IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati however denied the claims saying that no data from the IEBC’s voter register has been lost.
