A middle-aged man was found dead inside a guest house in Kitui on Saturday.
Kitui Central Sub County Director of Criminal Investigation Singi Nzyoka confirmed the incident.
Nzyoka said the deceased had traveled to Kitui from Western Kenya in the company of two other men.
Phone records accessed by the DCI reveal that the deceased was heading to Mbitini Kitui rural to honor an appointment with a traditional doctor.
Nzyoka told a local radio station that the deceased is suspected to have died of a viagra (sexual enhancement pill) overdose.

The officer, however, said a planned autopsy will reveal the actual cause of death and help in closing the investigations into the matter.
The body of the deceased was later moved to the Kitui Level Four Hospital Mortuary.
