Investigations are underway to establish the mystery behind the death of a 26-year old man inside a guest house in Mlolongo, Machakos County.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the deceased identified as Clinton Wanakacha was discovered dead inside Miathathia’s guest house on Tuesday morning.
His lifeless body was sprawled on the bed in room 6 of the guest house.
It is alleged that the man had booked the room on Monday and was in company of a woman who is yet to be identified.
“An employee working at the guest house told detectives that the deceased had booked into the room last night(Monday) at around 8pm, accompanied by a yet to be identified woman,” read a statement by DCI.
Detectives retrieved two used condoms from the scene as they searched through the room in a bid to find clues that would help in identifying the suspect behind the murder.
The deceased’s body was transferred to the city mortuary.
