Former Machakos first lady Lillian Ng’ang’a has dealt her immediate husband governor Alfred Mutua a blow after she won big in their first battle in court.
In a petition filed on Tuesday, the court allowed Lillian Ng’ang’a’s petition that sought to restrain governor Mutua from repossessing her(his) properties.
Lillian through her lawyer had gone to court to retain a car that she allegedly bought and registered under her name prior to their break up, which she argued that Mr. Mutua and his bodyguard took from her apartment before selling it later.
“Accompanied by his police guard, Mutua arrived at my apartment parking lot in Kileleshwa, Nairobi, and without my knowledge or consent and using a spare key which he had legally obtained, drove away my personal motor vehicle which had been fully registered in my name since 2014,” she claimed in a recent press in company of her lawyer Philip Murgor.
As a result, she asked the court to order Alfred Mutua to surrender the vehicle to the Kilimani police station and bar him from stepping foot at her home.
Lillian through her lawyer Gachie Omwanza argued that she was scared of the governor’s threats and actions, hence wanted her personal space as the case goes on in court.
“What I want is for the court to permanently stop him and his servants from coming close to me, accessing my home, visiting my workplace or seizing any of my property. I am apprehensive that he can break into my home.
“He is capable of doing anything using unorthodox means. He has already threatened to forcefully seize my properties,” Lillian condemned Mutua in an affidavit.
Juliani’s girlfriend further claimed that governor Mutua illegally transferred the hotel shares they co-owned to his name without her knowledge.
As a result, Lillian called upon the Directorate of Public Prosecution boss Noordin Haji and Inspector General Hillary Mutyambai to investigate the matter to its conclusion.
The woman also alleged that the governor threatened to “crush her to ashes” after she called for an amicable separation during a meeting in September in the presence of two friends.
She further revealed that their separation with the Machakos governor was not amicable contrary to what he had been spreading in his previous interviews.
Former Machakos first lady Lillian Ng’ang’a on Thursday hired criminal lawyer Philip Murgor to deal with her rogue ex husband Machakos governor Dr. Alfred Mutua.
According to Lillian Ng’ang’a, her move to contact the services of lawyer Philip Murgor was informed by the fact that Mr. Alfred Mutua has been interfering with her life despite moving on.
She has also said that Machakos people should stop calling her ‘former first lady’ because despite living with Mutua for 9 years, she never married the guy and were just having fun.
