A piece of Lego has fallen out of a seven-year-old child’s nose two years after it got lost.
He was sniffing cupcakes when his mother discovered the lost piece.
The young boy from Dunedin, New Zealand, told his parents he had placed the piece up his nose while playing back in 2018.
His parents told New Zealand’s publication – New Zealand Herald that they had tried themselves to remove it but all was in vain.
The then decided to take their son, Sameer to a GP, who also could not see the small piece in the boy’s nose.
The doctor told Sameer’s parents that their son may not have put the piece into his nose, but if he did, it would have entered his digestive tract and pass naturally.
Mr. Anwar, Sameer’s father said since the incident “he’s never complaining or anything” and the family had even forgotten about it.
But that lasted until Saturday when Sameer felt a pain in his nose after sniffing cupcakes and told his parents he might have snorted some crumbs.

His mother then helped him blow his nose and saw the missing piece coming out.
“His eyes were wide open and he was like ‘Mum, I found the Lego!’ You were telling me it wasn’t there, but it was there!’ his father explained.
He added: “It was shocking, you know? And it had a bit of fungus on it.
