KTN Anchor Sharon Momanyi Takes On Critics Who Attacked Her, Other TV Girls Join To Offer Her Support

Sharon Momanyi decided to face off with online trolls who have been on her case ever since she returned to anchoring news on KTN.

Momanyi was body shamed for adding weight, trolls poked fun at her body because of the weight gain as they mocked her social media.

The KTN news anchor gained weight during her pregnancy. She went on maternity leave after giving birth and when she returned she was a bit bigger in size that before.

Momanyi broke news about her pregnancy to her fans on August 26th 2020, she was anchoring news while heavily pregnant with her second child.

She gave birth, went on a maternity leave and ultimately returned to work on KTN on July 26th 2021.

Fat shamers have been on Momanyi’s case since she returned on the screen to anchor news, and on Wednesday December 8th she had enough of it.

Momany decided to hit back at trolls stating that she is happy and comfortable even though she has added weight.

“Weuh… the number of times people feel the need to comment on my weight is nauseating yo.. how I gained it, what I feel and I’m doing about it is my business imagine. And I am happy and confident to be back on air!! Smiling face with smiling eyesWoman dancing. Be thinned (sic ) by your own!” Momanyi tweeted.

Lindah Oguttu, Kirigo Ng’arua, Akisa Wandera are some of media personalities who commented on Momanyi’s post to offer her support.
