TV girl Linda Oguttu rubbed Kenyans the wrong way and now concerned people have launched an online appeal to have her fired from her job.
Oguttu got into the bad books of Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) after she was handed a plum government job without merit.
The KTN anchor is among several ‘unqualified’ people who were appointed to a caretaker committee to oversee football affairs.
Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed disbanded the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and appointed the caretaker committee.
The committee which will run football affairs in the country for six months is chaired by retired judge Aaron Ringera.
On Thursday morning November 11th, the CS received an audit report from Sports Registrar Rose Wasike leading to the disbandment.
Lindah Oguttu’s featured on the list of names led by former Director of the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission Aaron Ringera. Other members of the committee were listed as: General (Retired) Moses Oyugi, Fatma Adan, Philip Musyimi, Anthony Isayi, Elisha Kiplagat and Hassan Haji, Fredrick Tureisa, Mwangi Muthee, Neddy Atieno, Ali Amour, Titus Kasuve, Richard Omwela, Bobby Ogolla and JJ Masiga.
The caretaker committee sparked a heated debate with a section arguing that the Sports CS should have appointed Carol Radull to the committee instead of Oguttu.
Thousands of tweeps decried Linda Oguttu’s appointment on the grounds that she has no tangible skills, let alone interest on sports to warrant her to occupy to such a critical role in the troubled sports agency that has been marred with cases of mismanagement and corruption.
The voluptuous KTN anchor took to social media to cry foul the moment angry KOT started roasting her.
