King Kaka for the first time opened up on how doctors almost murdered him four months ago when he walked to the hospital only for the healthcare practitioners to give him a wrong diagnosis.
In a detailed interview with Radio Citizen, the veteran rapper gave blow by blow of what happened to him to the extent of being given the wrong prescription which made him lose more weight and intensify his sickness.
“I was sick like four months ago, I went to a hospital and a doctor misdiagnosed me, mwili ikaanza kujikula pole pole na nikaanza kulose weight,” Said King Kaka while speaking to Radio Citizen.
“Ilifika mahali nikaanza kulose weight pole pole,sielewi nilikuwa 85 but by the time nilikuwa naenda hospitali kulazwa, I was 62,”
However, the celebrity confessed that he is yet to take any legal action against the hospital or the doctor since he believed it was a genuine mistake.
“Mi huwanga mtu wa kusameheana sana, nikasema nitafute treatment kwingine, makosa sometimes si mtu apanga.. unasameheana unatafuta suluhisho kwingine,”
As a result, King Kaka Sungura stated that it was his lowest moment in life and that he completely lost hope.
“Ni space na wakati ngumu sana, siwezi wish kitu kama hicho kwa mtu yoyote, but support system ni muhimu, family imekuwa hapo,”the rapper said on Tuesday.
However, he expressed his gratitude to a number of people such as his wife who not only offered him emotional support but was always assuring him that all would be well.
“Mke wangu amepigana sana, sometimes nilikuwa nalose nguvu ya kiakili, but she kept saying it would be okay, make wangu alinipea nguvu sana ya kiakili,” King Kaka told Radio Citizen.
At the same time, the celebrated artists noted that his sick situation made him start appreciating life as opposed to taking the same for granted.
“Kila kitu ni blessings, kama unaweza kula, kuna mtu yuko mahali hosi hawezi ongea, kama unaweza tembea, ilifika mahali singeweza kutembea, niilingizwa hosi na wheel chair,” he added.
Despite that, King Kaka was glad that he has gained significant weight as he recovers at home.
“Tunapigana bado, niko na macheck-ups na madaktari , lakini niko nyumbani na-recover, naweza kukula na nimeanza kurudisha weight, sahii niko 74. Maombi ya watu ndio itanisaidia, na imenisaidia,” He posed.
“I am shocked that a doctor would rather make money from me than give me the proper treatment,” he concluded.
