A youthful woman has lost her life after being pushed from the 10th floor of an apartment in Kasarani.
The incident occurred in the wee hours of Saturday March 2.
According to residents of the apartment in Thome near Safari Brooks academy, they heard a commotion inside the apartment before the tragic fall.
They would later stumble upon the woman’s disfigured body.
Detectives from DCI arrived at the apartment, which also serves as a short-stay accommodation facility, following calls of distress and cordoned it off, blocking onlookers from tampering with the scene of crime.
The identity of the woman still remains unknown but investigations are going on to establish circumstances surrounding her death.
The death adds to the list of women who have lost their lives in short-stay accommodation facilities which are commonly known as Airbnb.
This has seen fresh concerns emerge about the safety of the apartments with netizens calling upon people to avoid them.
“Just avoid airbnb at all cost,” an X usser advised.
